The Daniel Fast is a partial fast based on the biblical account of the prophet Daniel. Specifically derived from Daniel 1 which describes Daniel’s abstinence from the ‘king’s food’ in favor of ‘vegetables’ (Heb. zērō‘îm, ‘seeds’ or ‘pulse’, Dn. 1:12) and water.
The Daniel Fast serves as a physical reminder of our dependence on the Lord. It gives us the opportunity to focus on Him as our ultimate satisfaction.
Please join us as we begin the Daniel Fast on Monday, Jan 8 until Sunday, Jan 28. For more information, please visit this page. If you have any questions please contact Pastoral Intern, David Otuwa (email@example.com).

As we enter the final week of the Daniel fast, we are looking forward to the opportunity to formally break it together as a church. We invite you to join us next Saturday at 11AM for an hour of worship, prayer, and testimonies commemorating how God has moved over the past several weeks. No matter how the fast has been for you thus far, we believe it is important to take some time to thank God for his faithfulness to us and everlasting presence in us.
Where: Lincoln Hall, 357 E Chicago Ave
There are many restaurants nearby that we will encourage people to go to after the event in order to break the fast together. Street parking or SpotHero is encouraged but we will have validations for the lot on Erie st. as well ($10.25 for 12 hrs).
We hope to see you there!
